You'll catch hints of salinity and black olives on the palate, as well as a healthy wallop of worn leather, tobacco leaf, and the spiced, oak-driven cedar character that unites all Domaine A Merlot releases. The back end is long, savoury and rewarding, with hints of coffee bean, and the overall structure will remain robust even with a few years in the cellar.
